Assorted Fish Pulao

What goes in:


Pulao rice -300 gms
Assorted fish pieces -600 gms – 15 mi
White wine -1 tspn
Pepper crushed -30 gms
Salt – 30 gms
Oil -30 ml
Butter – 30 gms -50 gms
Onion (large pieces) – 50 gms
Capsicum- 75 gms
Coriander leaves chopped – 1 tspn


How to prepare:

  1. Cut fish into suitable size and marinate with mixture of wine, 5 gms of salt, /, tspn of pepper and keep for half hour.
  2. Meanwhile boil rice in salt water until just done and drain off water.
  3. Heat together oil and butter in a thick pan and saute fish in it for 2 mts. and remove.
  4. To the same pan, add onion, capsicum, salt, pepper, rice and saute for 1 minute.
  5. Add the fish into rice, toss well and serve garnished with parsley and tomato.

(Assorted fish pieces: Squid head & pieces, prawn, lobster meat, seer fish cubes, etc.) Accompaniment: Any fish curry Cooking time: 30 mts.
