{"id":866,"date":"2021-06-10T05:24:14","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T05:24:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mpeda.gov.in\/indianseafood\/?p=866"},"modified":"2021-06-10T05:24:15","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T05:24:15","slug":"prawn-masala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mpeda.gov.in\/indianseafood\/?p=866","title":{"rendered":"PRAWN MASALA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>What goes in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prawn Shelled &#8211; 600 gms<br>Onion Crushed &#8211; 100 gms<br>Oil &#8211; 30 ml<br>Butter &#8211; 30 gms<br>Red Chilly Powder &#8211; 1 tspn<br>Turmeric &#8211; 1\/4 tspn<br>Garlic Paste &#8211; 1 tspn<br>White Vinegar &#8211; 10 ml<br>Salt &#8211; 5 gms<br>Ajwane &#8211; 1\/4 tspn<br>Mustard Seeds &#8211; 1\/2 tspn<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How to prepare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Marinate prawn in a mixture made up of spices powder, garlic paste, vinegar and half of salt and keep for 30 mins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Heat oil and butter in a pan and crackle mustard seeds and ajwane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Add prawns, remaining salt and stir until the fish is completely cooked (3 mts). Combine tomato puree and little water and simmer for 2 mts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.
