{"id":845,"date":"2021-06-10T05:11:52","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T05:11:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mpeda.gov.in\/indianseafood\/?p=845"},"modified":"2021-06-10T05:11:53","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T05:11:53","slug":"prawn-curry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mpeda.gov.in\/indianseafood\/?p=845","title":{"rendered":"PRAWN CURRY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>What goes in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Large Prawns shelled &#8211; 600 gms<br>Thick Coconut milk &#8211; 300 ml<br>Shallot crushed &#8211; 150 gms<br>Tamarind Juice &#8211; 15 ml<br>Red chilly paste &#8211; 10 gms<br>Tomato concasse &#8211; 100 gms<br>Cumin powder &#8211; Half tspn<br>Coriander paste &#8211; 10 gms<br>Salt &#8211; 1 tspn<br>Butter &#8211; 50 gms<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How to prepare:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Mix together paste ingredients, cumin powder, salt, and marinate prawns for 30 mts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Heat butter and brown shallot to golden brown colour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Add prawns and saute for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Now add tamarind juice, tomato concasse and simmer for 3 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Add coconut milk and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
