{"id":724,"date":"2021-06-10T04:19:05","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T04:19:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mpeda.gov.in\/indianseafood\/?p=724"},"modified":"2021-06-10T04:19:05","modified_gmt":"2021-06-10T04:19:05","slug":"baked-fish","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mpeda.gov.in\/indianseafood\/?p=724","title":{"rendered":"BAKED FISH"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>WHAT GOES IN<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Medium sized fish (800 gms) &#8211; 1 no<br>Salt &#8211; 1\/2 tspn<br>Black pepper powder &#8211; 1\/2 tspn<br>Oil &#8211; 15 ml<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sauce<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Butter &#8211; 50 gms<br>Ginger paste &#8211; 5 gms<br>Garlic paste &#8211; 20 gms<br>Red chilly paste &#8211; 10 gms<br>Tomato puree &#8211; 250 gms<br>Onion chopped &#8211; 50 gms<br>Coriander leaves chopped &#8211; 30 gms<br>Lime juice &#8211; 10 ml<br>Salt &#8211; 1\/2 tspn<br>Cumin powder &#8211; 1\/2 tspn<br>Green peas \/ Soya beans &#8211; 100 gms<br>(Cooked)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HOW TO PREPARE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Remove scales and the internal organs of fish and wash well.<br>2. Smear the seasoning all over the fish and keep for 30 mts.<br>3. Bake fish in a preheated oven at 190\u00b0C for 30 mts. Smear oil frequently during baking.<br>4. Melt butter in a pan and saute garlic, red chilly and onion for about 3 mts. in a slow fire.<br>5. Add soya beans and stir for a minute then add tomato puree, seasonings and cook until it reaches sauce consistency and remove from fire.<br>6. Usually the fish is sliced after baking.
