These ponds were stocked during February and March 2025 with <strong>disease-free, high-health P. monodon seeds<\/strong> produced at MAC\u2019s in-house hatchery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>Zero Water Exchange system<\/strong> was adopted throughout the culture period, complemented by the regular application of <strong>natural probiotic solutions<\/strong>. This eco-friendly approach ensured that <strong>no antibiotics, chemicals, or artificial feed additives<\/strong> were used, aligning with MPEDA-RGCA\u2019s commitment to sustainable and responsible aquaculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"><strong>Optimised Culture and Promising Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Optimal water and soil quality parameters were maintained consistently. Periodic sampling was undertaken to monitor growth performance, which showed promising results. The first pond was harvested on <strong>12th June 2025<\/strong>, and the second on <strong>14th July 2025<\/strong>, both at <strong>120 days of culture (DOC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The harvest was inaugurated by <strong>Shri D.V. Swamy, IAS, Chairman, MPEDA<\/strong>, in the presence of <strong>Dr. Ram Mohan M.K., Director, MPEDA<\/strong>, <strong>Shri Anilkumar P., Secretary, MPEDA<\/strong>, and <strong>Dr. S. Kandan, Director, RGCA<\/strong>. The occasion also included an <strong>Aqua Farmers\u2019 Meet<\/strong>, where the <strong>technical report<\/strong> of the culture was presented by <strong>Smt. The harvested Black Tiger shrimp exhibited excellent quality\u2014<strong>antibiotic-free, pathogen-free<\/strong>, and with a <strong>uniform size range of 35\u201340 grams<\/strong>.
