It stands as Japan&#8217;s leading international seafood trade fair, attracting numerous participants from both domestic and international fisheries sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Grand Opening Ceremony with Indian Participation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event commenced with a traditional <strong>Sake barrel-breaking ceremony<\/strong>, symbolising prosperity and success. <strong>Shri Anil Kumar P., Joint Director of MPEDA<\/strong>, joined representatives from other nations, showcasing India\u2019s commitment to fostering global seafood partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>What JISTE 2024 Offers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JISTE 2024 is more than just a trade fair\u2014it is a hub for exploring the future of the seafood industry. The event showcased the robust trade ties between India and Japan, with India offering unparalleled opportunities for Japanese investments, particularly in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressing representatives from over <strong>150 Japanese companies<\/strong>, the Indian Ambassador highlighted the strong economic relationship between the two nations, emphasising that <strong>more than 1,500 Japanese companies are already operating in India<\/strong>. With its rich seafood resources and strategic initiatives, India presents an attractive market for Japanese businesses looking to expand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Strengthening Global Seafood Trade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JISTE 2024 proved to be a significant milestone in strengthening India-Japan trade relations in the seafood sector.
